The iNews Times reports that the Anglican bishops in Anambra State have commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformational governance, transparency and accountable leadership.
The delegation led by the Archbishop, Province Of The Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Alexander Ibezim, toured the Solution Fun City, a recreational facility designed to promote tourism and economic growth.
The bishops also visited the Alex Ekwueme Square, the Government House and Governor’s Lodge.
He engaged in discussions with Soludo about the role of faith-based organizations in community development.
Appreciating Soludo for his initiatives and commitment to transparency and accountability in governance, the clerics pledged the church’s readiness to partner government towards achieving sustainable development in the State.
Soludo, in his response, thanked the religious leaders for their continued partnership in fostering peace and development in the state.
He underscored the importance of collaboration between church and government in addressing social issues such as poverty, education and healthcare.
Highlighting the significance of Solution Fun City as a catalyst for job creation and a hub for family entertainment, Soludo explained that his government has been able to stabilize the state finances.
