Awka, Nigeria — The iNews Times | A leading stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Hon. Dike Innocent Igboekwe, has commended the party over the successful conduct of the APC Anambra congresses across ward and local government levels in the state.
Igboekwe described the conduct of party members as a shining example worthy of emulation across the country.
According to him, the peaceful outcome of the APC Anambra congresses did not happen by accident but was the direct result of visionary and purposeful leadership at all levels of the party.
He said, “The smooth conduct of the congresses has been widely celebrated as a testament to the strength and cohesion of the APC family in Anambra State, with members across the 21 local government areas turning out enthusiastically to participate in the internal democratic exercise.
“What we witnessed during these congresses is a demonstration of uncommon political maturity. Our members conducted themselves with dignity, discipline, and a deep commitment to the ideals of our great party. This is truly something every political organisation in Nigeria should seek to emulate.”
Igboekwe further attributed the success of the APC Anambra congresses to the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that his democratic values and commitment to internal party harmony continue to shape APC structures nationwide.
He also praised the APC National Chairman, Professor Yelwatda, for providing firm and steady guidance that ensured the congresses were conducted strictly in accordance with the party’s constitution.
The stakeholder additionally recognised key leaders, including Hope Uzodinma, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (OFR), Uche Ekwunife, Nze Chidi Duru, and Chief Basil Ejidike, for mobilising party faithful and ensuring peaceful participation throughout the APC Anambra congresses.
