David Umahi talks about loyalty to Tinubu

…I have told Tinubu publicly that my loyalty is to God first and then, him — Umahi.

The iNews Times reports that the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has publicly declared his unwavering loyalty to President Bola Tinubu, stating that after God, his allegiance lies solely with the president.

Umahi made this declaration in Abakaliki while speaking with newsmen, expressing his gratitude for the president’s recent commendation of his work on infrastructure projects.

The minister state that president Tinubu’s trust in him is immense, and he believes that betraying such trust would incur the wrath of God. Citing an example of a project worth N1.6 trillion, where the president did not interfere, as evidence of the trust Tinubu has placed in him.

“I have told the president even publicly that my loyalty is to God first and then, him,” Umahi said.

“When a man gives you the type of trust Tinubu has given me, you will be of the devil to betray him.”

Umahi emphasized that he prays daily, seeking guidance to prioritize God, Tinubu, and Nigerians above personal interests.

Umahi also dedicated the president’s commendation to those who pray for his success, expressing his commitment to serving the people. He highlighted his involvement in the construction and inspection of numerous mega projects across the six geo-political zones of the country, with about 30 projects expected to be inaugurated by December 20.
