Miss Tessy Aladi

…Miss Aladi was murdered in a hotel room in the Gwarimpa area Abuja.

The iNews Times reports that the Edumoga Youth Association (EYA) has condemned the brutal murder of Miss Aladi Offikwu Johnson, also known as Tessy, a native of Olaidu, Edumoga in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.

Tessy was found dead in a hotel room in the Gwarimpa area Abuja on June 16, 2025, with her hands tied behind her back.

The iNews Times learnt that Tessy checked into the hotel with an unidentified man on June 16, 2025.

The man was later seen leaving the premises alone, and Tessy was later discovered unconscious during a routine service check by hotel staff. She was confirmed dead shortly after.

President of EYA, Alhaji Lucky Itodo, has called for a thorough investigation into the murder, emphasizing that the incident must not be swept under the carpet.

He expressed concerns about the safety of young girls in Abuja, citing the need for authorities to take decisive action against ritualists and cybercriminals who seem to be targeting innocent lives.

Itodo also urged young women to exercise caution when meeting strangers or entering private spaces for material reasons. Adding that “Hookup culture is dangerous.” “These situations often end in disaster, just as we’ve seen with this case.”

The group demanded that the government take responsibility for securing Abuja, warning that if the capital city is no longer safe, the entire country is at risk.

Itodo called on community leaders and the public to support efforts to secure justice for Tessy and her family.

The FCT Police Command has confirmed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing, iNews Times reports.
