On Tuesday morning, the northern states will have cloudy skies with sunshine intervals, while isolated thunderstorms with moderate rains are forecast for Borno, Kaduna, Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba and Adamawa. Later in the day, thunderstorms and moderate rains will move across Kano, Jigawa, Yobe, Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi and Taraba.

In the central region, expect cloudy morning skies and sunshine intervals, with moderate rains over Kogi, Niger, the FCT, Kwara and Nasarawa. By afternoon and evening, thunderstorms with moderate rain will cover Niger, Kogi, Kwara, Benue and the FCT, NiMet stated.

For the south, cloudy skies with chances of moderate morning rain are predicted in Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi and Delta, while light to moderate rainfall will spread across most parts of the region later in the day.

In the southern region, cloudy skies will dominate the morning hours, giving way to moderate rainfall in the afternoon and evening.

Motorists and commuters were also advised to exercise caution on wet roads and to plan travel accordingly as thunderstorms and heavy showers could disrupt movement nationwide.
