…says Soludo celebrating fake alliance with President Tinubu
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the November 8, Anambra State guber polls, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu on Saturday said that the incumbent governor, Prof Charles Soludo has never won any election before on his own, iNews Times reports.
Ikukuoma stated this when he was treated to tumultuous reception at Chinua Achebe Airport, Unueri on his return from Abuja where he had gone to receive the party governorship flag from President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
The reception for Ikukuoma and his running mate, Sen Uche Ekwunife took place at Chinua Achebe Airport, Umueri in Anambra East LGA of the state.
Speaking at the occasion, the Anambra State APC chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike noted that Gov Soludo and his APGA supporters were celebrating alliance a fake alliance with APC two weeks before President Tinubu gave the party flag to Prince Ukachukwu.
He said as a matter of fact that the joy of the APGA faithful died a natural death with the arrival of Ikukuoma.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has confirmed the candidature of Ikukuoma who will lead Anambra to the real center,” he said.
Ikukuoma while addressing the mammoth crowd at Chinua Achebe Airport thanked God for his victory at the governorship primary of APC.
“I’m back with a message from President Ahmed Tinubu to all of us in APC, the message is simple ‘Go and bring me Anambra’, Anambra cannot afford to be backward when issues of Nigeria is being discussed.
“Nkea bu nkeanyi is not working, we must get it right now. We are Tinubu, Tinubu is us and we are APC. We will win the election landslide. APC is our party, Tinubu is our president. We will not rig the election, we will win the election clean and clear,” he asserted.
Ikukuoma urged the party faithful to go all out and bring out the voters who will vote for APC in the governorship election.
“It’s over for APGA in Anambra State. Soludo is now very desperate and dropping names and reaching out to stakeholders belatedly. Soludo has never win any election in his life, Obiano won it for him three years ago. November 8 governorship election will show him that he is just floating,” he stressed.
The APC guber candidate used the occasion to unveil his running mate, Sen Uche Ekwunife who thanked the people for turning out en-mass to receive her and her principal.
