…says Solution Fun City would be affordable to Ndi Anambra both the rich and poor.

The iNews Times reports that all is set for the commencement of full operation of the Solution Fun City Awka this weekend June 28, 2025.

Situated before Kwatta junction and adjacent to Zara Stores Awka, the Solution Fun City will be opened to the public this Saturday and will operate from 10am-10pm daily and 1pm -10pm on Sundays.

The facility essentially have country club, family fun centre, games for kids and children, cinema and water parks with six different swimming pools and lots of attractions.

But briefing newsmen on Wednesday at the facility ahead it’s Grand Opening, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Solution Fun City Awka, Mr Mohammed Farrag said the facility will be the cheapest among it’s contemporaries in the country and would be affordable to Ndi Anambra both the rich and poor.

“Before putting price tags, we made comparison of all amusement parks and entertainment centres in Nigeria, we are cheaper than any amusement park in Lagos, Port Harcourt and other parts of the country. Minimum rate of games is #400 and maximum #1000.

“Solution Fun City is fun like no other, such that whoever that come here will find the fun like video games among others. What will make people keep coming here is the entertainment: everyday we will be having lots of activities different from the day before, and will be laced with competition and promotions. There will also be promos for services rendered.”

On whether the establishment will get subventions from government, Mr Farrag said “this is an investment which will provide for itself return on investment as a corporate organization and legal entity. We will be operating here on an international standard to make people feel unique experience.”

Mr Farrag, an Egyptian professional in leisure and entertainment management, noted that various sessions of the facility will be manned by 85 fresh unemployed graduates who had undergone one week intensive training and would be certified professionals upon employment.

“I am a certified Vice International Association of Amusement Park in Anambra State as well as one of the top eight in the world in managing and establishing amusement and water parks. Am more than proud to be in Anambra State.”

Earlier, the Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment, Mr Don Onyenji said the Solution Fun City was conceptualised and built by Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo administration to provide leisure and fun for Ndi Anambra and global community.

According to him, since Anambra State has contributed significantly to film, entertainment and creative industry in the country, there is for the state to take it’s pride of place in the comity of the creatives.

“On Friday 27th eve of the event, the creatives in the state will be hosted by Mr Governor in a dinner with a comprehensive plan to make Anambra a conducive place to invest, work, relax and enjoy.

“The facility has been registered as Solution Fun City Ltd, a corporate entity that will be independent of the usual direct government interference or politicization.

“This place gonna be a beehive of activities through which the state will connect to the world capable of hosting international and local tourists. All of this, we expect a sustainable management that will not just provide fun to Ndi Anambra irrespective of age, but also give return on investment to develop other sectors,” Onyenji concluded.

Already, this Saturday 28, musicians and comedians will entertain fun seekers. They are Anambra-born superstar Flavour, Umu Obiligbo, Onye Obodo, Ogbuefi I Go Talk among others.

Thus, the event will be filled with music, dance, comedy, special performance and general entertainment.
