Victor Osimhen Set For Galatasaray, as Napoli Demands €75m

…Galatasaray’s bid for Victor Osimhen stands at €50 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

The iNews Times reports that the Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly one step closer to joining Turkish giants Galatasaray after reaching an agreement on personal terms with the club.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has given his approval for a move to the Istanbul-based club, with a contract set to run until June 2028.

The deal, however, is contingent on ongoing negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli, with the latter holding out for a higher transfer fee.

The Turkish giants’ latest bid stands at €50 million plus €5 million in add-ons, but Napoli is firm on its valuation of the striker, reportedly seeking to activate the €75 million release clause.

Osimhen’s preference for Galatasaray is no secret, with the striker reportedly maintaining strong ties with the Turkish club.

Despite Al Hilal’s interest and willingness to trigger the release clause, Osimhen is said to be keen on a return to Turkish club, where he spent last season on loan and helped the team win the title and League Cup.

The Turkish club’s determination to sign Osimhen is evident, with the club reportedly seeking financial backing from sponsors to help cover the cost of the release clause.

According to reports, Osimhen has accepted a €16 million per year contract offer from Galatasaray, indicating his preference for the Turkish club.

The Turkish champions are set to hold a face-to-face meeting with Osimhen to finalize the deal, with the striker expected to make a decision by July 14.

If the transfer goes through, it would mark a significant coup for Galatasaray ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Napoli, however, remains firm on its valuation of Osimhen, with the club reportedly unwilling to sell the striker for anything less than the €75 million release clause.

If the Turkish giant fails to meet Napoli’s demands, the Italian club may activate a unilateral extension to Osimhen’s contract, keeping him at the club until 2027.
