ABUJA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | Power shortages linked to gas supply constraints have plunged Nigeria into persistent darkness, prompting the Federal Government to announce decisive measures to tackle the crisis.
Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, said the ongoing efforts are aimed at delivering more reliable and sustainable electricity to homes, businesses, and industries.
He assured that reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu are beginning to yield results, adding that Nigerians will soon experience their full benefits.
Adelabu stressed that public trust and cooperation remain crucial to the success of the administration’s reform agenda, noting that the President is repositioning Nigeria globally to attract investment and drive development.
He highlighted recent engagements in the United Kingdom as a sign of progress, saying they are expected to boost investment, strengthen bilateral relations, and enhance economic cooperation, marking a new direction for the country.
