Soludo presents timetable for Special State Christmas celebrations in Anambra

AWKA, NIGERIA, The iNews Times | The Government of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has released the lineup of events for a special Christmas extravaganza aimed at making December 2025 unforgettable in the mind of Ndi- Anambra.

Tagged ‘Ọnwa Dezemba’, the programme begins on Thursday 18th December by 6pm at Awka City Stadium (By Solution Fun City) for the GenZ, to feature music, performances and other forms of entertainment.

The statement which was released by the Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor and made available to newsmen in Awka, said Christmas Carol holds on Saturday 20th December by 4pm at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka

On Christmas Day, Thursday 25th December will feature Children’s Christmas Festival by 2pm at Solution Fun City.

Mmanwu Festival holds on 27th, 28th and 29th at Ekwueme Square Awka, Township Stadium Ekwulobia and Ezechima Primary School Onitsha respectively. There will equally be Novelty Match at Awka Township Stadium on 27th by 2pm.

 

On the evening of 30th December will be special musical concerts by Flavour n’Abanịa and others at Solution Fun City.while night of 3rd January will feature comedy shows to make the audience laugh out loud.

“4th January*: #onwadezemba All White Old School Night – (A party/event where attendees are encouraged to wear all-white outfits with focus on playing and celebrating “old school” music), 6pm at Solution Fun City.”

 

Dr Mefor urged Ndị Anambra to be part of the celebrations to fully enjoy Anambra’s rich cultural heritage and entertainment hubs.
