The iNews Times reports that the Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, was in a grand ceremony on Monday, conferred with the esteemed chieftaincy title of “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu” (Jewel/Eagle from another kingdom) by the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council.

This honour recognizes her tireless humanitarian work, love for Enugu State, and dedication to the nation’s development.

During her two-day working visit to Enugu State, Tinubu was celebrated for her impactful initiatives, particularly in empowering women and vulnerable populations.

The title was presented by the Chairman of the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Igwe Ikechukwu Asadu, who praised Tinubu’s compassion for the less privileged and her support for nurses and midwives.

Tinubu expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the honour, describing Enugu State as a peaceful and welcoming place. She emphasized that the title is not only a personal recognition but also a tribute to her husband, President Bola Tinubu, and their family.

The First Lady’s visit to Enugu State was marked by significant gestures, including empowering 400 women and young farmers across the state’s 17 local councils with essential agricultural inputs.

This initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s goal of bolstering food security and economic growth in collaboration with state governments.

Her efforts are part of the Renewed Hope Initiative, aimed at supporting vulnerable populations and promoting economic development.

The chieftaincy title is a testament to Oluremi Tinubu’s dedication to serving the nation and her unwavering commitment to the welfare of Nigerians.
