ASABA, NIGERIA – The iNews Times | Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger whose detention at Kirikiri prison stirred public debate, has received a lucrative job offer and a luxury holiday package from the Delta State Government.
Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, announced the gesture on Wednesday via Instagram, revealing that she has been offered a monthly salary of ₦500,000 for a position secured in Delta State.
According to Ossai, the package also includes an all-expenses-paid trip to Asaba, with flight tickets, accommodation in a five-star hotel, a guided city tour, and VIP access to the Delta Social Media Summit set for August 28.
“I’m offering Comfort Emmanson a complimentary trip to Delta State, known as the Big Heart and Home of Global Tourism Hub,” he wrote. “Additionally, a job opportunity with a monthly salary of ₦500,000 has been secured for her. All expenses, including flights, accommodation, and tours, will be fully covered.”
The governor’s aide said the invitation was meant to help Emmanson relax after her release. “She won’t be disappointed as I will be giving her a good time,” he added.
Ossai urged anyone with direct contact to Emmanson to inform her to reach out to him via Instagram to finalise arrangements.
