Children’s Day: Obeledu Children showcase talent

The children of Obeledu community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State stole the show at yesterday’s Children’s Day celebrations, iNews Times reports.

Led by Christ the King Primary School and Community Secondary School, the children showcased their talents and discipline in a match past competition.

Christ the King Primary School emerged first position in the primary school category, while Community Secondary School took second position in the secondary school category. The students won numerous prizes, with the primary school students being particularly outstanding.

President General of Obeledu Progress Union, Engr Kenneth Echendu who doubles as the Chairman of Anaocha PGs, expressed pride in the children’s performance, attributing their success to the community’s efforts, adopters, and parents/guardians.

“As Chairman of Anaocha President Generals, I represented the Anaocha Local Government President Generals at the event.”

“The achievement is a testament to our commitment to nurturing and developing the talents of our young ones,” he said.
