‎‎ANAMBRA,NIGERIA- The iNews Times | The Anambra State Police Command has pledged to uphold peace, enforce lawful directives, and prevent any disruptions to public order throughout the state.

‎This was stated by the command’s spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement issued on Wednesday in Awka. He noted that the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, visited Onitsha to strengthen public safety, order, and community confidence.

‎The iNews Times recalls that Governor Chukwuma Soludo ordered the indefinite closure of Onitsha markets on Monday during an unscheduled inspection.
