LAGOS, NIGERIA – The iNews Times reports that the highly anticipated season 10 of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is set to premiere on July 26, with organisers promising a double launch weekend and the biggest cash prize in the show’s history – a whopping N150 million.
MultiChoice Nigeria made the announcement at a press conference on Wednesday, revealing that the milestone season would kick off with back-to-back live shows on July 26 and 27 across Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family.
Returning as host is the ever-popular Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who has become synonymous with the reality show’s high-drama eviction nights and iconic moments.
“We all know Biggie has been serving drama, twists, and iconic moments for nine spicy years. Now BBNaija Season 10 is HERE, and it’s outdoing everything you’ve seen. Certified reality drama. No zero. No minus,” the organisers declared in a statement.
In a move to reconnect with its massive fanbase, BBNaija brought back physical auditions for this season, held from May 16 to 18, marking a return to the grassroots vibe that has shaped many of its past contestants into household names.
Since its debut in 2006, Big Brother Naija has evolved into Africa’s most-watched reality TV show, known for its unique blend of competition, entertainment, and unscripted drama.
With a record prize at stake and the promise of heightened twists, the upcoming season is poised to set new standards in Nigerian reality television.
