As of the time of filing this report, the LAPD has not released an official statement publicly confirming the identities of the deceased, and details surrounding the cause of death remain unclear.

Rob Reiner, 78, is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in American film and television. He directed several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, and A Few Good Men.

Rob Reiner first gained national prominence as an actor portraying Archie Bunker’s son-in-law on the iconic television series All in the Family.

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) has paid tribute to Reiner in past statements, describing him as “one of the most significant figures in the history of film and television.” Union leadership has previously highlighted his nearly six-decade career and the lasting cultural impact of his work.

Michele Singer Reiner, 67, also built an accomplished career in Hollywood as a producer, actor, and photographer. She collaborated with her husband on several projects, including Shock and Awe and Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, released earlier this year.

She appeared as an actor in films such as Mixed Nuts and worked as a photographer on Misery. Michele Reiner also earned an Emmy nomination for producing the documentary Albert Brooks: Defending My Life and produced God and Country, a documentary examining Christian nationalism in the United States.

Authorities have confirmed that investigations into the reported deaths are ongoing, and further updates are expected as official information becomes available.
