Addressing entrepreneurs, students and business owners drawn from different sectors, Nwonu emphasised the need for strategic planning and consistent execution, stressing that long-term enterprise sustainability depends on structure, discipline and measurable systems.

Themed “Innovate, Lead and Grow: Strategies for Entrepreneurial Success,” the UDUF Africa Bootcamp featured sessions on innovation strategy, leadership effectiveness, financial intelligence, sales systems and enterprise sustainability, equipping participants with practical tools for immediate application.

Director General of the host institution, Prof. Olusegun Oludapo Sogbesan, highlighted the importance of clarity of vision and measurable goals in building enduring organisations, while financial expert, Dr. Sylvanus Allegbo Izebhokae, warned that weak financial management remains one of the leading causes of business failure.

Managing Director of Chilis Food Limited, Pastor Mrs. Abayo Angela Ifeoma, delivered insights on scaling enterprises for impact, demonstrating how structure, positioning and internal systems enable businesses to grow beyond survival stage. Sales strategist, Amb. Dr. Simeon Kelvin Chukwu, focused on converting opportunities into revenue through disciplined selling and deep customer understanding.

Founder of UDUF Africa, Ezuma Smart Chinedu, led a strategic session on designing profitable business models and anchored the overall programme, linking the sessions into a coherent growth pathway. He maintained that Africa’s future depends on leaders who combine competence, integrity and service.

Executive Director of the bootcamp, ThankGod Chukwuekezie Chukwuemeka, described the initiative as a deliberate investment in human capital, noting that access to the right knowledge and networks empowers young people to drive economic growth and community transformation.

Beyond the classroom sessions, the UDUF Africa Bootcamp also fostered strong networking opportunities, with participants initiating partnerships, building professional relationships and gaining renewed clarity about their business direction.

Feedback gathered at the close of the programme indicated that attendees found the experience practical, inspiring and transformational, further strengthening UDUF Africa’s position as a rising platform for leadership development and entrepreneurial capacity building across the continent.
