‎ABUJA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday swore in Tunji Disu as the 23rd Inspector-General of Police.

‎The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, just before the start of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

‎During the ceremony, Tinubu also inaugurated six commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and two commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

‎Ministers, top government officials, and relatives of the appointees witnessed the event. The FEC meeting began shortly afterwards with many council members in attendance.

‎Among those present were Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Security Adviser, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Esther Walson-Jack, along with several ministers.
