IMO, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | Chaos erupted in Owerri, Imo State, as a crowd surged forward to seize empowerment items designated for selected members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during an event organised by President Ahmed Tinubu’s support group, Cityboys Movement.
Eyewitnesses said that despite the presence of security personnel, the crowd overran the distribution point, ignored the list of beneficiaries, and carted away items such as bags of rice, sewing machines, and minibuses.
The development reportedly left several dignitaries at the event disappointed, including Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, who was in attendance.
