ABUJA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday stormed the Maitama residence of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, in Abuja.
The EFCC team, said to be led by Folarin Dare, arrived in about five buses. Dressed in their signature red and black jackets and heavily armed, they blocked off the road leading to Malami’s home in Maitama.
Attempts to gain access to the property, located at No. 2 Koranakh Close, off Amazon Street, were unsuccessful as operatives cordoned off the entire area.
