The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has apprehended a notorious native doctor, Levi Obieze, also known as “E de play, e de show,” iNews Times reports.
The fleeing Native doctor was declared wanted by the police over allegations of kidnapping and ritual killings in Enugu State.
According to reports, Obieze was arrested at a checkpoint in Lagos while attempting to flee the country.
He is said to be linked to the kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl and the discovery of two decomposing bodies of pregnant women in soakaway pits on his premises in Umuojor village, Isiagu Community.
The NIS Comptroller General, Kemi Nandap confirmed Obieze’s arrest on Thursday in a statement by the Service Public Relations Officer, Akinsola Akinlabi.

According to the statement titled ‘Nigeria Immigration Service confirms arrest of notorious crime suspect Obi Levi Obieze,’ he is currently in custody and has admitted to the alleged crimes.
The service is collaborating with the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and his eventual handover.
The arrest follows a dramatic rescue operation by local vigilante groups and the police, who stormed Obieze’s compound after the kidnapped girl’s father raised the alarm.
The community had been gripped by fear following the discovery of the bodies, and Obieze’s arrest has brought some relief to the residents.
Obieze, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and money spraying at public events, was reportedly on the run with his four wives before his capture by immigration officers.
The NIS has reaffirmed its commitment to border security and its collaboration with other security agencies to bring perpetrators of crimes to justice.
