ANAMBRA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has felicitated with Ndi Anambra and Nigerians as the nation enters the New Year 2026 with hope, gratitude and renewed resolve.

The governor’s New Year message was conveyed in a press statement issued on Wednesday by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.

In the message, Soludo expressed confidence that the new year offers fresh opportunities for Anambra State to consolidate its gains, draw lessons from past challenges and work together toward achieving prosperity, security and sustainable development.

He reaffirmed that his administration remains firmly committed to its core “Solution pillars,” which include infrastructure development, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, as well as the protection of lives and property.

While extending warm wishes to citizens and residents of the state, the governor urged them to welcome the new year with gratitude, reflecting on the resilience, industriousness and patriotic spirit that continue to distinguish Ndi Anambra both at home and abroad.

Soludo assured the people of his government’s unwavering commitment to improving lives and further transforming the state in 2026, noting that efforts would be intensified to deliver projects and programmes that directly enhance living standards, create opportunities for young people and position Anambra as a prime hub for investment and innovation in Nigeria.

He also stressed that sustainable development requires strong collaboration between government and the people, calling on Ndi Anambra and Nigerians to continue supporting and cooperating with authorities at both the state and federal levels.

The governor concluded by wishing the people a prosperous New Year, praying that 2026 brings abundant blessings, good health, peace and prosperity to households across Anambra State and the country.
