…APC Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, described the trio as devoted party leaders who served Kogi State and the party with outstanding loyalty, commitment, and dedication.

KOGI, NIGERIA- The iNews Times | Three prominent chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have passed away.

The deceased are Onojah James Ignatius, Jatto Onimisi Suleiman, and Alih Atabo.

The Kogi State Government announced their deaths on Monday in a statement issued in Lokoja by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo.

According to the statement, the state received with deep sorrow the loss of Hon. Onojah James Ignatius, Special Adviser to the Governor and former Chairman of Igalamela Local Government Area; Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor; and Alhaji Alih Atabo, APC Chairman of Anyigba Ward in Dekina Local Government Area.

Fanwo described the trio as dedicated party leaders who served Kogi State and the APC with exceptional loyalty, commitment, and devotion.

He noted that Onojah James Ignatius was an experienced grassroots mobiliser and administrator whose commitment to community development and good governance was evident throughout his service. He added that Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman carried out his responsibilities with humility, diligence, and a strong sense of duty, consistently prioritising public interest. Alhaji Alih Atabo, he said, was a steadfast party loyalist whose contributions to the unity and growth of the APC at the ward level were commendable.

The statement did not disclose the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

The commissioner conveyed the condolences of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Kogi State Government, and the people of the state to the families of the deceased, their associates, and members of the APC.

He also sympathised with the people of Igalamela, Okene, and Dekina, as well as all those impacted by their service, noting that their legacies of sacrifice, dedication, and service to the state and the party would remain enduring sources of inspiration
