‎…Neville believes Arsenal’s mindset may be limiting their full potential.

‎‎LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM- The iNews Times| Arsenal have been advised to adopt a more expressive attacking approach if they are to secure both domestic and European glory this season.

‎

‎Club legend Gary Neville made the remarks while analysing Arsenal’s narrow 1-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sky Sports.

‎The win lifted Mikel Arteta’s side three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, strengthening their title charge.

‎

‎However, Neville believes the club’s mindset may be limiting their full potential, especially with a crucial Atletico Madrid clash looming in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

‎

‎“They need to be more free in their attacking play,” Neville said.

‎

‎He added that while Arsenal are in a strong position to challenge on both fronts, their current focus appears more geared toward securing the league title rather than embracing the broader ambition of winning the Champions League as well.

‎

‎“At the moment, I think they’re thinking ‘we’ve got to win a league’. I don’t think they’re thinking ‘we’ve got to win a Champions League’,” he said.

‎

‎Arsenal now head into their European fixture with momentum, but Neville insists a more fearless and fluid attacking style could be the key to achieving a historic double.
