Speaking during an interview on the online show Young and Healthy Bros hosted by Egungun, she explained that misinformation and miscommunication contributed to confusion surrounding her condition.

“I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication,” Blessing CEO said, adding that she recently received her biopsy results.

According to her, initial assessments suggested the lump was non-cancerous, but subsequent tests confirmed it to be cancerous. She noted that she has not commenced chemotherapy and is still awaiting further medical evaluations to determine the exact stage of the illness.

Blessing CEO also addressed concerns about the funds raised for her treatment, dismissing claims that the amount ran into hundreds of millions of naira.

“The money raised is not hundreds of millions as some people think. It’s just ₦13 million,” she stated.

Blessing CEO maintained that she would not publicly share her medical results, describing them as private, and stressed that she does not owe anyone an apology for how she has handled the situation.

Emphasising caution, she said her focus is on understanding her condition and exploring the best treatment options available.

“I just want to be sure about what I am doing. I’m not a doctor; I’m only sharing the updates I receive from them,” she added.
