…“Why Drop the Spoon When the Soup Is Tasty?” – says Osita Chidoka.
AWKA, NIGERIA – The iNews Times reports that the former Minister of Aviation and Vice Chairman of the Anambra State Educational Council, Chief Osita Chidoka, has formally thrown his weight behind the re-election bid of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, describing him as a “rare breed” and the right man to continue leading Anambra State into the future.
Speaking at the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone endorsement event on Saturday, Chidoka praised Soludo’s administration for its transformational impact across sectors and urged Ndi Anambra to support continuity in 2025.
“In 2025, the question is no longer ‘Is it broken?’” Chidoka declared. “The real question is: why drop the spoon when the soup is tasty? Ndi Anambra, the pot is still on the fire. The aroma of progress is in the air.”
Highlighting Governor Soludo’s record in urban renewal, digital innovation, education reform, and infrastructure development, Chidoka emphasized that Anambra State had entered a new era of disciplined governance and strategic investment.
“Soludo is the only son of Anambra who has kept money for the whole of Nigeria, and today, he is keeping Anambra’s money with care, vision, and discipline,” he stated.
Using vivid Igbo proverbs to connect with the people, the former minister likened Soludo’s leadership to “sweet sleep,” invoking the adage, “Ula tọba uto, ekwobeya ekwobe” – when sleep is sweet, you don’t wake up; you roll over and enjoy it again.
Chidoka, who has long been associated with policy innovation and youth development, urged Anambra voters not to “break the rhythm” of progress.
“Let the Solution continue. Let Odịụkọ finish the course,” he concluded, referring to Soludo by the title “Odịụkọ na Mba” – the rare one, not easily found.
The endorsement adds political weight to Governor Soludo’s second-term campaign, especially coming from Chief Chidoka, a respected figure with national visibility and deep grassroots influence across Anambra State.
