Iran Attacks US Bases as Explosions Rock Qatar, Bahrain, UAE

…Iran attacks US bases marking a significant escalation in the already fragile security situation in the Middle East.

Doha, Qatar — The iNews Times reports that Iran attacks US bases across several Gulf states, targeting American military installations in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kuwait in a major escalation of regional tensions.

The latest wave of hostilities saw Iran attack US bases in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kuwait, triggering explosions and emergency responses across multiple countries.

According to Al Jazeera, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE immediately shut down their airspace following the incident, as explosions were reported in parts of Kuwait.

Qatar’s Defence Ministry confirmed on Saturday that an Iranian missile aimed at a US installation was intercepted by the Patriot air defence system before impact.

In Bahrain, authorities disclosed that the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet was among the targets of the missile assault, with explosions reported in the vicinity.

Meanwhile, Reuters news agency reported that a loud explosion was heard in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, further intensifying fears of a broader regional conflict.

The Iran attacks on US bases mark a significant escalation in the already fragile security situation in the Middle East, raising concerns over possible retaliation and wider instability across Gulf states.
