‎‎…government firmly rejected claims suggesting that the salary backlog is connected to political activities.

‎‎‎ZAMFARA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times| The Zamfara State Government has dismissed widespread rumours linking the delay in salary payments to political developments, insisting that the situation is unrelated to any alleged defection by Governor Dauda Lawal to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

‎

‎In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa, the government clarified that the salary delay is part of a broader national challenge tied to ongoing financial and banking processes at the central level.
