Isa Ashiru made the disclosure on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday, stating that his registration with the party is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

According to him, the event will take place at Kudan Ward in Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

“I look forward to this significant step as we continue to work for the progress and development of our people,” he wrote.

The move comes shortly after Isa Ashiru officially resigned from the PDP. He had submitted his resignation letter to the party’s chairman in Kudan Ward on March 27, 2026, formally ending his long-standing association with the party.

His defection marks a notable shift in Kaduna’s political landscape, as he aligns with the ADC ahead of future political engagements.
