Adeboye Predicts Peaceful Death

…Adeboye said his final moments on earth would come after enjoying his favourite meal of pounded yam.

OGUN, NIGERIA  – The iNews Times | The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has once again revealed his vision concerning the manner of his death, telling thousands of worshippers he would pass away peacefully on a Sunday after church service.

Speaking during the church’s ongoing International Convention, themed “The Overcomers”, Adeboye said his final moments on earth would come after enjoying his favourite meal of pounded yam. According to him, death does not always arrive through prolonged illness, and his own transition would be without any form of sickness.

“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Adeboye declared, drawing mixed emotions from the crowd.

The 82-year-old preacher noted that this was not the first time he had shared the vision, recalling that he made a similar statement two years ago. Adeboye has often spoken about life, death, and eternity in his sermons, using personal revelations to encourage believers to live in readiness for their own day of departure.

Delivering his message titled “Possess Your Possessions”, He urged Christians to stand firm in their faith and actively claim the blessings and promises that God has made available to them through Jesus Christ. He emphasised that spiritual victory comes from walking closely with God and living with eternity in mind.

The RCCG International Convention, which attracts millions of participants annually from across Nigeria and abroad, continues with teachings, prayers, and worship sessions at the Redemption City headquarters in Ogun State.
