‎In a statement issued on Friday and signed by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the Board directed candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number registered for the examination.

‎

‎JAMB clarified that candidates can, for now, only view their results, adding that the option to print official result slips will be made available later.

‎

‎The Board also issued a strong warning against the manipulation or falsification of result messages obtained through its official channels, stressing that such acts constitute serious criminal offences.

‎

‎According to the statement, some individuals have already been apprehended for engaging in result falsification using artificial intelligence and other electronic means.

‎

‎“Two candidates and one parent are currently in custody for attempting to manipulate results. Any candidate found guilty will face the full weight of the law,” the Board stated.

‎

‎JAMB further assured candidates and the public that the examination process is ongoing, noting that more results will be released in phases as marking and verification continue.
