Tinubu Honoured with ‘Ike Oha’ Title by Abia Traditional Rulers

‎…the honour was a gesture of appreciation for Tinubu’s decision to appoint Onyejeocha into his cabinet.

‎‎‎ABIA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times| The Umunneochi Traditional Rulers’ Advisory Council has conferred the chieftaincy title of “Ike Oha 1 of Umunneochi” on Bola Ahmed Tinubu in recognition of his support for the community.

‎

‎The title, which translates to “the strength of the people,” was bestowed during a civic reception held at Amuda Isuochi in honour of former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.

‎Chairman of the council, Franklin Ohalezim, said the honour was a gesture of appreciation for the president decision to appoint Onyejeocha into his cabinet, giving the community a voice at the national level.

‎

‎Responding on behalf of the president, Donatus Nwankpa expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers for the recognition and their continued support.

‎

‎He also conveyed Tinubu’s encouragement for Onyejeocha to pursue her political ambitions, noting that her resignation from office was not easily accepted.
