‎ABUJA, NIGERIA- The iNews Times| David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has shared how an abducted pastor of the church was released after he personally spoke with the kidnappers.

‎Speaking during a sermon in a viral video, Oyedepo said he issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the abductors when they contacted the church to demand ransom.

‎According to him, the situation changed immediately after the conversation, leading to the pastor’s release.

‎The cleric also encouraged members to provide his phone number to kidnappers in similar situations, expressing confidence in what he described as spiritual authority.

‎He further recounted a separate incident involving a female church member who, he claimed, was freed after invoking his words during her captivity.

‎

‎The remarks have sparked mixed reactions, coming amid ongoing national concerns over kidnapping and insecurity.
